JURA ON THE PATH OF ORWELL
A collection of original artwork from a residency at "Barnhill" on the Isle of Jura, where George Orwell penned his final novel "1984". Batey's dramatic paintings give an insight into the remote Western Isles landscape that surrounded Orwell while he wrote a dystopian masterpiece which contrasts starkly with the beauty of Jura.
